The mentor-mentee relationship is based on trust. Mentoring empowers the client to identify their strengths, facilitates the development of skills, challenges moving beyond comfort zones while ensuring a safe learning environment.
First we get to know each other to establish there is a fit between your needs and our services. This orientation is free of charge! We focus on you as a person. We will spend time exploring and understanding your needs, where you are in your journey, where you wish to go and what you might need to get there. Should you decide to engage with us, we will build a mentoring pathway together, ensuring your learning is appropriate, motivating and that it fits your schedule. Our Personalized Mentoring is at the core of what we do. We are experienced mentors with rich professional, educational and experiential backgrounds. We will help you improve your confidence, power of presence, negotiation, storytelling and boundary-setting skills among other things to further your personal and professional goals. We do this program in English. Our mentoring approach won’t be boring and formal and it can happen anywhere, over a cup of coffee, taking a trip, even by Skype! Our philosophy is that you learn better and faster when the learning settings are informal and natural and the “growth” topics are stimulating and meaningful.

If personalized mentoring feels a little too intensive, we also offer Group Mentoring. Ideal group sizes are 3 to 5 women. You can sign up as a group or we can introduce you into one of our existing groups. When mentoring groups, our approach is a bit more formal in order to ensure all participants have sufficient opportunities to speak and practice the skills we focus on in the Silk Mentoring Empowerment Cycle. The setting will remain casual, but we work through more structured exercises and activities. Our aim is to make your learning more engaging and fun, until you become less self-conscious, and able to transfer your skills into different settings.

Our favorite mentoring method is through our Weekend Retreats. Our retreats are up to 15 women and they are full immersion moments in an alternate reality, where we do so much more than communicate and practice our skills. Here, we learn from each other, share and bond. Each retreat is unique. It is organized in an inspiring location, where you will be able to disconnect from your daily routine and fully immerse in your experience. A typical retreat will have the following elements; several hours of formal immersion exercises, team work, personality and values discovery, 1 hour of personal mentoring, mindfulness & meditation, and some forms of physical activity.
